Why would you not be saved???
John 1:1-5
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart this morning about how so many do not even believe that God exists...God has always been here before anything was created by Him and He will always be here...Many ask me how do you know for sure? I answer because His Holy Spirit lives within me and He speaks to me out of His Word...I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God exists and He is exactly Who He says He is !!!
Why do so many want to believe that He doesn't exist? I believe the answer to that is because they would rather believe a lie than the Truth in Jesus Christ...They think that if they believe in a God that loves them, then they will have to give up all that they cling to now...They would rather live in darkness rather than come to the Light of Jesus Christ...
God in His mercy gives each one of us a choice to either choose Him or reject Him...If we choose Jesus as our Saviour and Lord, repent from all our sin and wicked ways, acknowledge Him as the One who died for us and ask Him to come into our hearts and spirits to live, then we will be saved...But if we reject the One who died so we could be free in Him, then we will be eternally damned and sent to hell for eternity...Some would say, well what kind of a God would send anyone to hell...I answer with, a Just God...He gives us all the choice to accept or reject Him and through our choice, we either live eternally with Him in heaven or we live eternally without Him in hell...We choose our place of abode for eternity...God is a Just God and He will judge each one of us, but we will choose where we spend eternity !!!
So, I ask you tonight, What is keeping you from this Great Love of Jesus Christ? Whatever it is, it is not worth spending your eternity in hell...Hell has no back doors...Once you are there, you are there for ever and ever...There will be no reprieve, no more mercy for you !!! Please don't laugh this off or say it doesn't matter to you where you spend eternity...There are many there right now screaming to get out and they know they will never leave...Today is the day of salvation...Listen to the Holy Spirit as He pulls at your heart, repent and ask Jesus' forgiveness and ask Him to come in...Please don't wait and don't reject His love for you today !!!
