Most of the prophecies can be found in the books of the major prophets, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel and the 12 books of the minor prophets. Many of their prophecies deal with social justice and so are relevant today as they were yesterday. 

If you're looking for Nostradamus' kind of prophecies, where things that were said hundreds of years ago, look for "Bible Codes" or "Torah Code". This theory claims to find in the Scriptures information pertaining to current events (or events in the 20th century, like the Holocaust).

Clearly there is some controversy concerning the scientific nature of this theory. 

As someone else said already, the books that primarily deal with prophecy are Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel and the 12 books of the minor prophets.  That is not to say what the minor prophets had to say was insiginifigant, its just that they didn't say as much.  While many of the books predicted events that have happened throughout history, the primary book that relates to today is the book of Daniel.  It follows history from the time Daniel lived, to the present day, and into the future still.

While not considered a book of prophets, Revelations is a book of prophesies that apply very much to modern times.

If you read closely, the book of revelation and daniel have much to do with Gods second coming. It may be confusing at first to understand the prophesies, but ask god for wisdom and knowledge.
