What can cause loss of taste and smell?

It's not alway's something you eat or do that will raise your cholestrol. Some people are prone to it from their family genes. So they need to see their Doctor's at least every 6 month's. Must have a blood test to confirm low or high. But must also watch what they eat even if they are on medication. 

Today I watched the Doctor's  show, you had a leg band from another doctor, for people that have a problem walking, I have a friend that has Neropathey and wears plastic leg braces it is very hard for him to really walk. Can you tell me where he can find that leg band he had on the show today. Gloria

Is there any way to heal Plantar fasciitis. I have tried everything from custom orthotics, chiropractic care,laser therapy,1 cortisone injection, proper shoes and i never go barefoot anymore. Nothing has helped and it is getiing very depressing as I can no longer work out at all!!!

My name is Charlotte Schaechter and I have had a problem with my tongue peeling. I went to my Internist who gave me a mouthwash prescription which didn't work. He gave me the name and phone # of an ENT and he took a swab of my tongue and he said the lab came back with bacteria from my stomach. He told me to take Prilosec OTC and florconizole and Cipro when he got the report from the lab - nothing helped, I then went to an Infectious disease doctor and was given intravenous for a full week of 2 medications and the main Doctor stopped it after a week and said it would not help. He also gave me a prescription mouthwash which I had to swish and swallow for 2 weeks - in between I had gone to Delray Medical Ctr for an TEE (special echo) and because I swelled up from the medicine given me for the test-I was given prednisone for 6 days and that helped for a few days but then it came back and that is why I went to the Infectious disease doctor. Nothing has helped and I have this problem since June. I'm not sure if this is endangering my life or what to do about it. I am 82 years of age and never had anything like this before.  I have had Shingles twice approximately 15 years apart-the last time was a year ago from April until early part of June 2007 - I was in the Shingles test and was given a shot (don't know if it was a placebo or not) back in February 2008 but I got the problem I have now since June 2008 and I don't know what to do anymore.  Can I be helped????? my home phone is 561-637-4869 and my email address is retbkkpr@aol.com any help will be gratefully appreciated. I watched the show today about headlice and how to get rid of them. I don't don't think you answered the question completely. There is so  much more in getting rid of them. At home you have the bedding, clothes furniture, carpet and anything else that they come in contact with. I find that the nit comb is a waste of time. And the shampo is way to strong for the safety of the kids. I have to treat my grandkids every time they come to stay and I use one half cup of white vinegar,conditioner and alcohol. Mix together and you put that on for half an hr and wash out. repeat every 2 or 3 days for 7 days until the nits are all gone also. the dryer will get rid of them and if you can't put it in the dryer you can put them in black bags air tight for 2 weeks.

We colleague suffers from a chronic disease anemia, a white note and had been providing blood, but unfortunately, degraded shortly after it no longer hear me you can find a solution to this crisis, and thank you very much and God will not be in good wage ratified Almighty God
