I'm dealing with CPS and I am doing or have done everyhting I have been court ordered. My caseworker is nothing but negative and I don't feel she is doing her job. I have court in a month and the state wants to either give my kids grandparents permanent guardianship or adopt them out. I would much rather my kids be with family and their grandparents say that once I'm on my feet again they will give me back custody, but I'm scared cause I don't like the word "permanent" and I don't know if I believe them. I don't know what to do I'm so scared to loose my kids forever. What can I do to ensure the grandparents will keep their word?

There is only one thing you can do.  Get your life back in order and change whatever it was that caused them to be a ward of the state.  The judge is the only one who makes the final decision if your children are returned.  If you strongly feel the caseworker is hampering your good efforts request a new caseworker.  If your reasons are legit they just might assign a new one.  The word permanent can be changed with hard work.  It does not necessarily mean forever unless you make no effort to have it amended. ~~ Good Luck!
