My chihuahua had his eye removed today due to glaucoma. We chose the option to completely remove the infected eye and stitch it shut. The doctor said that he would remove all the muscles in the infected eye but i noticed that my chihuahua has been twitching every once in a while, as if he is attempting to open the stitched eye. Is this normal?
Talk to your doctor again, and take the dog in to the doctor again if you don't get a clear answer or if the doctor asks you to.
