I had never had much luck with Valentine's Day and therefore never really looked forward to it or had high expectations. I had boyfriends who sent chocolate or flowers but nothing that really stood out. A couple years ago my luck changed. I came home from a long day and my husband (boyfriend at the time) had cleaned our apartment and cooked a lovely but simple dinner. My favorite music was playing and he insisted that i sit and relax while he finished getting everything ready. It was such a wonderful gesture and I knew how hard he had worked and it really showed how much he cared about me. I don't think that it is necessary to spend a ton of money or do something way overdone. I think it is the simple gestures that really show that you love your partner that mean the most.

It would be cool to work in a floral shop for valentinesday week as a gift. People everywhere answering the question for you while possibly getting paid too. All the cards baloons flowers candies and gift baskets available with characters prebuilt to personalize them at your disposal. What happens after they come in don't matter much but while they are in the shop you can certainly acquire plenty of good feelings surrounding the holliday. It is a busy time of the year for these places and they usually are short on staff for the regular amount of employees required to function, thus requiring temps. I would ruin the suprise to make it extra sweet and find out more than what too expect too. I did it as a bachelor and a love sick puppy by the time it were over, so I can only imagine how fun it would be to share with someone special. Paralysis and comas after being mangled and defaced or dead wouldn't make adifference in what we should give each other anyway if we can help it, after all not everyone has it so nice and easy but in fact to be is the sweetest thing a heart has and will ever be. It aint over to be able to think and the thoughtless haven't any complaints too, love is forever for you I do love is true. All this followed by the real candyland in heaven with custom boquets of confection stars and never run out for the hell of it. Doing our best to get Luke and Kelli married in broad daylight would be the right thing to do. God bless us all each and everyone. Happy valentinesday and please be mine we say. Amen again. Word to your editor feel free to originate.

If you think things can't get worse it's probably only because you lack sufficient imagination.

The best gift I ever received for V-Day was...surprises all day long!  I awoke and went to get some coffee in the kitchen.  There was a card and flowers by the coffe pot.  Jewelery was stashed in the coffee can.  I went to the bathroom and found gifts in there.  I went to put a load of clothes in to wash and found more gifts and cards.  The whole day was like that!  Then out for dinner and drinks and more presents!  Very well thought out and it was wonderful!

Gifts wise, surprise wise it was the best. But the very best? Just being with my husband now, no matter what we are doing or where we are... because he is my favorite person to be with...

Best way is to spend the day togeather without complaining about each other, exchange roses and chocolates and dine at a romantic restaurant....

The best gift I received is a game card from http://www.ultimategamecard.com/ 2 - 3 years back. I loved it more than anything as I am a game freak and the card allowed me to play 300 games and world and gave me the ability to purchase premium goods.

Love your life as you only get one.

I never do anything special for Valentine's Day because I take the opportunity every day of the year to tell my special someone how much I love and care for him.

Designating one day of the year to do this is completely catering to the consumer world and not something I'm interested in doing.

I had a very Romantic date with my Boyfriend/Spouse that I haven't heard topped yet.well it all starts at home, yours, his, or if you live together.start by having his favorite dinner ready to eat but kept warm, because you will also have a bubble bath waitng for him as he walks through the door.put small candles all around the tub ,tea lights are good. then put rose petals all aroundthe tub ,in the tub on the floor make it pretty, then either you give him his bubbly bath or you get in with him ..eh hemm ..take it from there,. do everything for him ,wash his hair, his body ,hie toes, tickle tickle. when getting out of the bath put his robe on, dry him off gently, and then lead him to the bedroom where there are rose petals along the way to the bedroom ,now inside the bedroom have small tea light candles surrounding the whole bed  <on the floor of course, if ur room is big enough put the bed on the floor or even lay down a fluffy soft blanket surrounding the bed with lots of pillows & more rose petals. optional ..silk sheets, have a plated appetizer ready for his hunger after that wonderful bath, made up of strawberry dipped in chocolate, grapes, red & green ..still on the vine ( washed of course ) some good cheese & crackers or whatever you prefer, and proceed to feed him, caress him, also if he like to could rub him down with a scented lotion all the way down to his toes,tickle..tickle.. when your finished showing him how much you love him ,well then it's time to have dinner..lol... and be sure to have his favorite dessert..now thats a loving Valentine gift for ur man .let me know how it goes ,believe me its the most sexy.. romantic.. relaxed date you could ever give a man, I believe after all the loving things they try to do for us, its more enjoyable for a man when hes taken care of by the love of his life.oh and I bet you can get him to the mall the next day for whatever your little heart desires..lol.. Good Luck,Happy Vaentines Day

When my husband and I were dating he was called into the army. His dad went to post and whisk him away with him (it was a weekend pass) and had him to hide in the back seat of the car when they got home. I was already there, as always on Saturdays to spend the day with his family. Anyway when Pa came into the house he said that there was a little something in the back seat of his car for me that he had picked up. I took off out to the car to get my surprise and there he was....the love of my life. And he is still the love of my life forty years later.
