Ask your mother what she'd like to do!

If she says, "Nothing" or "It doesn't matter" then use your brain and think of something you know she'd like.

Does she like the outdoors? Gather the family and have an old-fashioned picnic.

Is she always doing for others but never takes time for herself? Give her a day of pampering for herself and a companion.

Above all, be sure to tell your mother how much you love her and how much she means to you. If you put that in writing - in your own words - I suspect that would be the best gift of all.

Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.
Louisa May Alcott

I think that making something for your mom would be really nice, either with pictures that you have, or writing something nice.  Mom's really want to hear how special they are to you on Mother's Day.  Like JKgrandma said, see if there's something she'd love to do, and make sure she has a nice day.

I always celebrate Mothers Dayin best way. I make her favorite meal on mothers day, decorate her room with flowers, scented candles. Make a card in which I write good lines for her. Present with all these with a huge flowers bunch and yummy chocolates. She feels so happy.

Happy Mothers Day!!!

The process of making biodiesel is quite easy—so easy that you can make biodiesel fuel using inexpensive materials that you can buy at the grocery store. Here is how.

How to Embed a Bottle of Vodka in Solid Ice

Vodka is often served ice cold, and stored in the freezer. It can be useful and aesthetic to embed a bottle of vodka in ice if the bottle is to be presented in a formal situation to guests or otherwise kept outside of the freezer for any length of time. A bottle of vodka served in such a way is often referred to as vodka glacée, and can be used for shots as well as mixed drinks. Still, Vermont has the greatest concentration of covered bridges in the USA, and in the recent past has become dedicated to their preservation. Vermont law now protects all covered bridges and none can be torn down without the permission of the Governor and the Board of Historic Sites. How to Escape Materialism and Find Happiness

Happiness is having a large, loving, caring, close-knit family in another city. - George Burns Money can’t buy you love. It can’t buy you happiness either. Today’s materialistic world often urges us to buy the coolest gadgets, the trendiest clothes, bigger and better things, but research shows that possessions and purchases don’t buy us happiness. According to an article on CNN, "by and large, money buys happiness only for those who lack the basic needs. Once you pass an income of $50,000, more money doesn’t buy much more happiness [according to happiness studies]." So while we are being pushed towards materialism, it’s for monetary gain by corporations, not for our own happiness. All around us, there are messages telling us to buy stuff. On the internet, we see continuous advertising trying to get us to purchase a product or service. It’s the main reason for television, and movies are continually made with products placed throughout, so that we aren’t always sure what is advertising and what was put in there by the director. Flip on the radio or open up a newspaper or magazine, and you’re bombarded by more advertising. Go to a shopping center/mall, and the urge to buy comes from every direction. This message to continually buy, buy, buy and that it will somehow make us happier is drilled into our heads from the days of Happy Meals and cartoons until the day we die. It’s inescapable. Well, almost. You could go and live in a cabin in the woods (and that actually sounds nice), or you could still live in our modern society, but find ways to escape materialism. Unfortunately, it’s hard to escape the trap of materialism, and find happiness in ways other than buying stuff online or finding joy in the mall. But it’s possible. Here’s a guide to finding a materialism-free life and discovering true happiness.

How to Make Your Heart and Mind Work Together

I try to believe like I believed when I was 5... when your heart tells you everything you need to know. ~ Lucy Liu The same voice in your mind that told you to act, is the same voice that ridicules you later for making that choice. Unfortunately, it’s typical in our society to feel a conflict between what we want to do (our heart) and what we feel is practical (our mind). We end up living one third of our lives in a cubicle for the “benefits.” We stay friends with people we only kind of like. We do and say things to fit in and seem cool that really go against what we feel is right in our hearts. Is your heart at fault? Are your feelings just silly and frivolous? Or maybe it’s your mind that’s to blame. It might seem like it’s always coming up with conflicting messages anyway. And on it goes and we never really seem to get to it. There’s a lot of social conditioning that covers up and obscures things too. Even if you really feel like that’s the right choice, how do you know for sure? How do you know it’s not just what you think you should do? All of this might sound a little over the top, but it’s a real problem. It ruins lives because people can’t make up their minds about whether or not the path of their heart is valid or not. They end up living a shadow of the possibility that they could. All because they couldn’t make up their mind. There’s a simple answer to this problem. It might seem even a little too simple. But most things are. Bruce Lee once said “The height of cultivation always runs to simplicity.” First, let’s take a look at where this problem starts.
