A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
My car's oil pressure light comes on when I brake or put it in park, any advice as to what is wrong?
I assume that if you're asking the question that means you know this isn't normal. There could be an electrical problem that has nothing to do with the oil pump. If the problem was with the oil pump the light would be on constantly. The first thing you should do is check the oil. If it's OK I would head to an auto shop where more extensive investigating can be done.
