My car was parked on private property at my ...

my car was parked on private property at my grandmas motel. the trash company came to pick up the trash and backed into my car. i have gotton 2 estimates and the damages are about 1600 dollors in repairs. i faxed them both two the company and now they will not take my calls or return them what do i do now?

If it was me, I would find out the address of the thrash company and directly talk to the manager and give him the copy of the estimates. At the same time, you need to let your insurance company about the incident and also give them a copy of the estimates and also the address of the thrash company and the fact that you actually spoke with the manager of the thrash company.

the first thing you should have done was contact your insurance company and let them handle this for you. do not know how long it has been but you can still try to get them to help.  if you have comprehensive insurance then your insurance company will fix and go after the other party for reimbursement.  good luck.
