if the car will run, you can put a pressure gauge on the shreader fitting to read the pressure. It should be around 16 pounds per sq. in. If the car will not run, remove the gas filler cap. have someone listen while you turn the ignition switch to run then off. If the fuel pump is working you can hear it run for about 1 second each time you turn the switch on. If no sound, there may be a blown fuse, or the switch which turns of the fuel in an accident may have been turned off. the shreader fitting looks like the end of a tire valve and may have a cap on it.
