It depeds on several factors:  How much money are you prepared to invest ? What maily will you need the car for ?  How many miles will you drive ?  What size do you need ?  Do you care about the retale price ?  Do you mind about the maintainance costs ?  Does it matter to you how the car looks ? Do you fancy a relatively new car or can you get along with an older car ? Do you need a big bagage (boot, trunk) compartment or not ?  Do you have back problems on long or bumpy roads ? ......  and that's a short list.....  The answers will guide you what to choose (you can make it more scientific if you define the level of importance [each question] 1-10 and give a mark 1-10..... that will enable to give you a good idea what to choose.  Hope it helped.
