I have a 2006 350z coupe. When braking almost at a stop, I hear a rasping noise coming from the front. Almost sounds like the antiskid system. Brake pads and rotors are all in excellent condition. Anyone else have this problem?
Possible ABS cycle at end of stop.Could have a sensor dropping out
sound could be coming from the sway bar at the frame connections. spray some lubricant on both sides. it could also be from the spring seats top or bottom. have someone put their weight on each fender then let up and see if the noise is there. you may have to use a short piece of garden hose to pinpoint the source if bouncing the front end up and down cause it to sound off.
