Is the ECM sending a signal to the coil. Check input line on coil for appropriate voltage (see manual). Also if the camshaft position sensor (typically inside the distributor is broken or misaligned it will not fire. There is a LED in many camshaft position sensors that if the diode is jarred significantly it will blow out and will not work from then on. You may also want to get a spark plug wire checker to insert in the line (lights up when plug fires)to see if you are getting fire but getting it at the wrong time so it looks like you are not getting it at all. Also check the engine for a GOOD ground to frame and body.As always check the cap and rotor and spark plug wire ORDER!!!! Good luck.
