Ever since my father and sister gave me his LS, the check engine light was on. She drove it up and drove it to the store for some errands. As I pulled into my parking space the check engine light... out the top of the engine. Then I'd reinstall the plugs, Change the oil/filter and start the car...

Do-it-yourselfers out there, what type of maintenance is truly necessary besides regular oil changes... for a "regular" maintenance!
