A:

I have a suggestion about the stuck in park.  If the vehicle is parked on an incline, use another car to put slilght pressure trying to move che vehicle about 1 inch up the incline.  This may free the parking prang and allow you to shift out of park. use an old tire between the cars to prevent scratching.  if it on lever ground try moving the car back 1 inch first, try to shift out park.  if not successful, try moving the car forward 1 inch.  I can't address the brake light problem.  usually when the brake pedal is depressed the torque converter will unlock. the wire which loses power when the brake is depressed may be the control for that function.
