if she alwayz does this your axle, and gearbox internal part might get broke. and it is not advisable to shift R to N when your car is not fully stop. i have the same case with you before. I was driving a M3 I'm using Semi manual Tranny, when accidentally the shift knob was transfer to D by my girl friend.. nothing happens. but when i brought our M3 to casa and ask the technicians about what will happen if i accidentally switch the transmission from M to D what will happen. they told me its not safe and lucky for you nothings happens to the gearbox... good luck dude... hope you tell this to your wife.
