Can I be called back to active duty from IRR while enrolled in school?

Are you still connected in any way to the military--such as RESERVES OR NATIONAL GUARD--if so I would definitely think that they can call you up--so resign from those organisations if possible.  Another thought when you were processed OUT did you receive anything indicating termination of service such as an HONORABLE DISCHARGE CERTIFICATE--if so you are okay I think

Suffice it to say that anyone trying to predict what the military can or cannot do is attempting to weave through obscure reams of rules deliberately designed to obfuscate.

Well when you get out you have so many years that they can call you back. And yes, if you're in school you have to go back.

And if you get an Honerable Discharge you still have to go back if they ask.
