Two weeks ago I visited a Doctor because I could perceive unpleasant odour in my vagina. There were no symptoms or signs at all but it was smelly. The doctor said he couldn't do anything about it, I should wait for the signs or symptoms. I decided to go to the hospital to have health check at GU clinic, they took swabs but they couldn't find any infection, so they said it could have been bacterial imbalance caused by the IUD and gave me metronidazole (one week course). During the time I was using medication I was ok, now it is the third week and the smell has come back, this time with discharge,it really smells obnoxious.No itching, no soreness or burning just smelly discharge COULD IT BE BACTERIAL VAGINOSIS, WHAT WOULD YOU ADVISE ME TO USE
