I would like to buy (and download) an old version of Visual Basic through the internet (version 6).
Where can I do that?
Have you tried this Microsoft site? I'm not sure if this is what your searching for tho.
No. This isn'y what I was looking for.
And I did try the microsoft site. And ther's nothing for version 6
Sorry about that, I'll keep on the look out and ask around at my forum.
They're coming to take me away, Ha-haaa!

An MSDN (Microsoft Developers Network) Subscription gives you access through the Iinternet to download most of the previous versions of Microsoft products (including MSDOS ).
I don't know the pricing (you can find it out there on the site).
I don't know if this helps, but I found this site (I'm not sure if this is still valid):

good luck

I found a list of them here, but I'm not sure if the one your interested in, is in this list.Click Here
Your best bet may be to find a old textbook that was used to teach VB6. I know that I have taken classes in VB and they always came with a student version attached. Check Amazon and Ebay also for these books.
