Should I buy a DIY deck or patio kit? After talking with some friends and co-workers, I have mixed feelings about buying a DIY patio / deck kit, or should I pay a professional? Any horror stories out there with bad kits? Any good experiences?

I would not advise that you buy a DIY kit - unless you really know what you are doing. Instead, save up, get the professionals in, sit back and relax and let them build the patio for you. Need help ? Look on www.uktradestreet.com and find a useful and skilled Tradesman - and it's free too.
