What is the difference between online marketing ...

I'm afraid that I'm going to have to disagree with Oron on this one. In the context that it's usually used in, online marketing typically mean exactly what it sounds like, marking online.

Something to watch is the definition of Internet Marketing. Lately the term is becoming affiliated with the marketing of information products online, rather than just marketing online.

There is a difference between the Internet and the World Wide Web (www) although we tend to use the two terms interchangeably.  eCommerce is conducted on the WWW whereas the Internet hosts text and the larger picture.  The two are seperate but because we tend to use the terms "web", "online" and "Internet" to mean the same thing, over time, people have come to accept the term as commonplace.  So "Internet Marketing" and "online marketing" in this case - mean the same thing.  But technically- the Internet is a whole different ballgame.  Here's a link for more information:
