You should be able to find all sorts of ideas and plans on the web, but what is most essential is the materials you plan to use because books are extremely heavy and can bring down a bookcase. Therefore I would suggest you use good wood (not pine but a good wood where the grain is close together such as teak) or plywood. Never use composite board, because the shelves will sag in time and worse, the screw could co,e out if the shelves are moved several times.
