Insomnia symptoms vary from one individual to another, but the most common symptoms of insomnia are lethargy and drowsiness during the daytime.

Others are:

Difficuilty falling asleep

frequent night waking

difficuilty returning to sleep

waking up to early

racing mind

daytime tiredness

fatigue and drowsiness

difficuiltly concentrating

Grinding of teeth during sleep ( known as bruxism), Awakening from deep sleep with a start, known as night terror, parsomnia or disturbed sleep that can lead to sleep walking or night terror, involuntary movement of limbs during sleep, excessive kicking of legs, know as restless leg syndrome
