My brother is going into invasive surgery and I am so freaked out that he will not be okay. It’s going to be so hard to see him all sick because he is usually the strong one in my family. How can I pretend to be strong for him during this time when he needs me the most?
Times like this are surely tough. There is always a risk with ANY type of surgery; even having a baby is dangerous, but women have been doing it since the beginning of time! Being positive is your only solution! Of course, you will be thinking about it, but don't let the worry consume you. Tell yourself he will be just fine and that will give you the strength to be the "strong" one for HIM. The more emotion you show, the more HE will be worried. It's okay to be concerned about your brother. I have 4 of my own and I totally understand, but pray, be brave, and keep your chin up!

I am sure that your brother knows just how strong you really are. You just need to realize that we all strength deep within us. What you need to do is to have a talk with yourself. Then when you go to see your brother, don't dwell on the harshness of his condition. Remember instead all of the good times you had, all of the crazy things he did that made you happy and made you laugh. You may not laugh, but you should be able to manage a smile. And that smile, will mean the world to your brother. Just have faith in yourself, as I know he has in you. And let love go out in your smile.

I've been thru 5 surgerys since april this year and have a few more to go thru before they "fix me"i was burned pretty badly i died 3x all I can tell u is be strong PRAY and be there 4 him it means the most god bless you both
