I have seen some amazing ideas for bridal showers besides the average "umbrella".

Hope this helps. My idea's are:

Kitchen: Find small cookware, add candy and, tie sheer nylon net around the assembly, tie with a pretty bow. I would use the same colors as the bride has selected for the wedding. You could also find magnets with kitchen items like toasters, blenders, coffee pot, mixers etc. I have seen these in dollar stores and, discount stores.

Tea Party: Do the same with little cups and saucers. You could probably buy these in the toy department. In fact, you could take a cup, glue it to the saucer and then, glue a magnet on the bottom. Wrap it or, not.

Garden Party: Buy a small flower pot, you could find these in a craft store made of clay or wood. (Wood you might want to paint.) You could choose to decorate the pot with decals or a flower button. Add some candy or, flower seeds. Wrap it in the sheer nylon net. I have also seen some small garden tools, small garden gloves, little buckets and other small garden stuff in the craft store.

Around the clock: Perhaps get a small round circle made of wood, in the craft store again. Paint the clock, paint or use marker for the numbers, glue some fake hands on it and, a magnet to the back.
