Love is the battery of life....

Hi,

The breaking distance is a function of the speed and the state of the breaking system.  The way to calculte it is:  You'll need at least  some 3-4 meters per every 10 k"m/hr.  So If you ride 100 k"m/hr it's 30 (10 x 3) to 40 (10 x 4) meters.  Some sources take different figures (like 6-10 meters per every 10 k"m/hr, probably to be on the safe side).  In any case keep your breaking system always in top condition, your life is dependent on it !.
Best regards,
