Using boot camp on your macbook to dual boot to Ubuntu (Linux OS).

How would one dual boot Linux Ubuntu on their Macbook useing the Beta vs. of Boot Camp ... and would that make iSight work on Ubuntu (I am useing Parrallels and they don't have suppost for iSight yet).

You can find instructions on how to intall Ubuntu on a MacBook

here, but it's not a straightforward installation. As for iSight, on some Macs it works, on some you'll have to jump through some hoops in order to get it to work - but people are reporting that after the latest kernel update iSight stopped working (see post 69 onwards on that thread).

If you only want to get iSight to work under Ubuntu, I don't think it would be a good idea to go through this process.
