From your question you weigh 136.41 lbs. I"m no tsure what your height is and that information woild help me with a more detailed answer for you.

Whey protein is an excellent weight to maintain and gain muscle mass.  I use it myself. I use 60 grams twice a day. I started off 3 months ago with 17% body fat now I'm down to 10% body fat. My goal is 6% before my competition. Keep me posted and if you need additional information feel free to reach out to me.
