Why is teen pergnancy such a problem? Back in the 1900's it commom like any other pregnancy so why in the new mellinium its taboo of forbiddin?
Teen pregnancy was always a problem but today the problem is even greater because of advertising, sex in movies and TV and especially because we have today the condom and the pill. Both are thought to totally prevent pregnancy but the number of cases clearly show that totally is relative. I believe that sex education is imperative and desperately needed.

I've noticed this too and it's stupid. The main reason is because of what our society has turned into. Everyone is worried about other people rather than there own selves. Therefore, if a teen is pregnant people may refer to her as a "whore" or "slut" even if she has only slept with 1 person. Being a pregnant teen is hard enough with out the critism of today's close-minded people.
Teen pregnancy is one of the most considerable problems for troubled teens and as well as for troubled parents. Parents have to be more cautious in making themselves updated with latest information on various teens problems, this information help them to take better steps for effective teen parenting. Participating in various teens discussions help teen parents to get more information and also they can share their valuable suggestions with other troubled parents.

In the 1900s it wasn't a problem it was common to have babies in the 1900s. people had kids at like 16 to 18 that was the normal age to have kids. 25 was just a littel young.
