It actually really matters what kind of phone you have. First you need to get a compatible software for you phone. You need to get the software to recognize the phone. Sometimes it asks for a certain pin number that you decide on to verify your phone. After the phone is recognized and verified it turns up in your computer as a removable disk AND THEN ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JUST DRAG THE FILES TO IT.
