I have a hot water gas fired heating system for some reason every week i have to bleed the system, it will work for a week than i have to bleed it again i notice that when the boiler shuts down on temp, the pressure on the boiler goes to zero and when the boiler comes back on the pressure goes to 20psi, can some one firgure this out for thanks
If I can't do it right I won't do it
Check for a leak. You are gettting air in the system and this could be a leak in the plumbing or a seal on the pump. where even a small amount of water leaks air can get in as the temp goes down or the pump shuts off.
I would check the relief valve for leakage while the boiler is on. Could be a weak spring, worn seat or too low of a setting (wrong valve) Good Luck !

Hey both the answers didn't explain a 20psi rise when it heats up, I hope you drained your expantion tank.
