I forgot to take the birthcontrol pill one day and had sex. I resumed taking the pill, but I'm afraid that I might be pregnant. If I am, could the baby be affected by the pills I am taking?

In general no. The same hormones that are found in the birth control pill are found in a woman's body. Research has not shown any major effects in the case a woman uses birth control pills on the first few days of pregnancy.
