I take birth control but my period started in the middle of the month

I take birth control but my period started in the middle of my pack. Why would this happen?

Have fun, but be safe, use a condom!

Hi Carter

It could be that you have not been taken the pills accurately or your a taking other medication such as antibiotics, that has interfered with your cycle.  You should still be covered but I would suggest using condoms until after your next period.  If you do not have your next period at the right time, despite taking the pills correctly, go and see your doctor.
