How can we better help addicts?

I looked at that link briefly. It might be fine. Sounds like it is send several hundred dollars and get a manaul to read thing ... that was my impression from quick glance. Maybe i missed something. If you have a serious pornography or sexual addiction, i would see a local psychologist who specializes in working on those problems. That's me; that's how I would do it. Books can work wonders, much can be leaned that way ... but for a sexual addicition, I think face to face therapy might be necessary to be most effective. That's merely my opinion. rob

What I did was look in the blue pages of my local phone book (in Phila.) and was listed under Self-Help-Support Groups..for the Sexaholics Anonymous phone number in my area is 215-564-3272.  I am sure they can direct you to a meeting that is exclusively for support for this issue in your area.  They have a directory for different states, the meeting days and times in your area.  Hope this helpful to you..  Lulu
