Love, respect & compassion is all it takes to create heaven on Earth.

I am a proponent of the the Law of Attraction: "you get what you think about; your thoughts determine your destiny. I think it was Buddha that stated: "What you have become is the result of what you have thought."

If you are more the scientific type check: http://www.theintentionexperiment.com/

The first experiment was an enormous success when 400 people sat in a hall in London and intended for a leaf in the University of Arizona to 'glow and glow'. The results were highly significant - so much so that the results can be seen on photographs from special imaging systems.

The second experiment that took place was a web-based trial in which 7,000 people participated. The target this time was stringbean seeds, and again the intention was to make them glow. The results were highly significant in terms of 'glow effect', but too few beans were used to achieve a statistical significance.
The third experiment once again involved a leaf, and so was a web version of the successful experiment in the hall with participants intending in the same space. Computer glitches stopped many from participating, and the results were inconclusive.
So, what have we learnt?
1. Intention sent non-locally by a group of at least 400 appears to have a significant effect on distant targets.
2. A group of more than 6000 people sending intention from remote sites creates a significant effect, and is as large as 400 people in the same room.
3. For intention to work in a scattered group, we may need to have a critical mass of more than 1000 people.
4. Computer distractions or problems interfere with intention.
Thank you all for participating. We will soon be testing these ideas further, and with new targets.
The next experiment will run at 5 pm GMT 2 June 2007
The time zones are as follows:
6 pm British Summer Time
1 pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time
12 noon Central Daylight Savings Time
11 am Rocky Mountain Daylight Savings Time
10 am Pacific Daylight Savings Time
7 am Hawaiian Time
7 pm Western Europe Summer Time

Mind Power or simply the power of the subconscious mind is definitely a driving force in our lives. To quote Bob Richards, "You are what you think. You are what you go for. You are what you do!"

The power of the mind begins with your thoughts and thinking. Clearly, this would have have a tremendous effect on your feelings, emotions and actions in life. Take positive thinking as an example, by holding positive thoughts and a healthy positive mental attitude in life, you tend to have a better control and approach towards life's challenges and obstacles. A simple "twist" in thinking is going to result in a different chain of events.

I  wouldn't relate the soul to the power of the subconscious mind for I believe they are two different inner assets that most of all till today fail to understand and truly unlock our potential. If you like more information, there are several free resources you can check out, Mind Power Archives.

Hippie Masala

In the 1960s and 1970s thousands of hippies journeyed East in the search for enlightenment, free drugs or a 'pure' life. Indian peasants assumed that a severe drought in the West was the reason for their migration. India's holy men saw it, more accurately, as a search for spirituality. Most moved back to their home countries after a few months or years. Some stayed for good. Hippie Masala shows aging flower children who, after fleeing Western civilization, found a new home in India.
