Is there more beyond what one believes exist or have we been in denial?
I think there is more to the big picture. Not sure I understand you question. Is ther life after death? Even though I had been raised in a church all my life I find now I am agnostic. Is the bible the good book? I can say no but the 10 comandments are good. Can people be human when so many of us act like animals? I doult it. Is there a super being out there in the universe I don't know but if there is they apparantly don't think we are smart enough to come and meet with us. I think your answer to your question are we smart enough to take care of the planet that we live on now. And my answer is no. We aren't. We are the only species that kill for greed and hate. Animals may kill but it is for survival. Not greed or hate. I think animals are by far the superior of the species. And if you beleive in the religious sense. Remember Noah and the Ark where God destoyed man but kept the animals. Also when was the last time you saw a deer with a guys head mounted in his den over the fireplace. No if I have this question wrong please get back to me. Oh and I am agnostic but I still believe that spirirts have a hard time letting go of this life.
This question really depends on who you're talking to. I believe what I believe, but am always seeking more to the story. I never want to think of myself as closed minded or set in my ways so much that as you say, "I've been in denial."
Do you feel something has been revealed to you you haven't thought of before?

All religious belief systems, presented to us today, are interpretations of someone's beliefs. It is up to you to decide for yourself what you will believe. Mind (intellect), body (physical), spirit (heart/emotions), are all gauging the ideas of a supreme being. The power to decide is within you, how do you gauge it? Do you think there is more than a God in the heavens? I believe there is, but I wonder to even more and often ask the many "whys" because there are so many things that are unclear. What do you mean to be saying "are we in denial?" Denial about what? I'd like to understand your question better! ~Heart
