No, Yoga can't heal a person from depression. I am considered a "chronic depressive" and will have to stay on medication for the rest of my life even though I may still have depressive episodes break through the medication occasionally. I really enjoy the serenity and calmness that I get from taking Yoga and Pilates classes. Yoga particularly is a rather mental form of exercise and relaxation. Please consider seeking help from the medical community to get you out of your deep depression before you get suicidal. Then go out and find some fitness classes like Yoga and Pilates to enjoy your new found self. Absolutely the best of luck to you and please don't wait any longer to seek help!!!!
