Tilt the glass and pull the tap all the way forward. Don't forget, you always want to have enough head on the top.
Pouring Guinness is a little different. Don't tilt the glass. All you have to do is to pull the tap and let the black liquid fall into the glass. A high carbon head is covering the liquid now. Let it seat for about 90 seconds and then feel the rest of the glass . voila, you got your self a beautiful Guinness.
