Of course it depends on what school you would like to attend because each school has its own requirements. However,  most cosmetology schools do not demand that you be a high school graduate.

It offers comprehensive three and four-year programs.  Applicants to the professional diploma program in classical homeopathy must have completed their OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma ) or equivalent, plus a minimum of two years of study at the college/university level.

It does depend on your state and which cosmetology school you choose, but as a general rule, most states and cosmetology schools require their applicants to be at least 16 years old, and have at least a GED or high school diploma.
