I was very much afraid that the new White House policy would be to essentially "forget" 9/11/2001.

Smile I find Obama to be very refeshing.  He hit the ground running and is doing a very fine job.  (In spite of Republicans being so hateful)

I think that Obama came with an agenda. This includes making us more vulnerable to our enemies. I fear greatly what will happen in the future, because I don't trust this man's motives. Two people in my town were killed on 9/11 and I know that their families have not forgotten! The image of this country will be tarnished in another way, if our enemies will face a leader who thinks he is the Messiah.

We are an advisaril country, time for change maybe, but we have never known 5 years of peace.  We need a foe, an enemy, an advisary, without one WE can't suceed.  Any group of people without a common foe to fight against can not, will not suceed.  To many, the Muslims are our  common foe, our Enemy! We will not bend to their way of thinking and they will not bend to our way of thinking, what does that lead to...WAR.  The Muslims have already declared war against our way of life. They would rather die then join us. My friends the writing is on the wall so to speak, the question is how much can we as Americans stomach before we give up?

I think he sounds like exactly what he is.......A very naive, inexperienced freshman who simply bought his way into politics and alas a Whitehouse that he has had no training for. Hence, all of the left overs from the Clintons administration.

I always had difficulty with "war on terror".  A terrorist can be a child in a school killing, a suicide bomber, anyone with a grudge and a wish to scare and harm others.  To me, a war has identified opponents, so the enduring fight against terrorism and terrorists (for all countries) makes much more sense to me than a "war on terrorists" - identify the terrorist group that claimed responsibility for blowing up the Twin Towers and causing so much death and grief for Americans and others on 9/11 ... and then, go after them, by name.  The term, "War On Terror", imho, is too all-encompassing and too vague. I've always disagreed with that phrase and I'm glad if it is being used less often.
