Some people are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges.

I'm for the death penalty if it is proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the person is guilty. I'd say they actually have to be caught almost in the act in order to convict someone and give them the death penalty. I don't think that it's fair to expect the taxpayers to foot their bill while in jail if they are in fact guilty of the crime.

You hear more and more about all these people being sent to prison just to find out that 10-20 years later due to new and improved technology and DNA research and evidence that they were actually innocent or wrongly accused. In the meanwhile this poor innocent person that's been jailed all this time has lost everything and released to do what in the world? If he wasn't a hardened, bitter person before he went into jail, I'm sure he is after being released after losing everything. And all the money in the world that the state gives them when released for being wrongly accused does not give back all those years lost, job lost, family lost, etc.

I dont know what I think about the death penalty in Colorado, It has always been one on my favorite states . It is a beautiful state with all the the wonderful things to do and see. Now it will be full of murders and downright killers that will overcrowd the prison syslems which are already spilling over. Some of these criminals are the worst that we have to offer. Some of the things they have done they need to pay with there life just like the the lives that they took. On the other hand they will be punished in the end of time, and I think that is a little closer than we think.. Most of these prisons give these killers and thugs anything they want, most of them have it better than they would on the streets. Reform is what is needed, not freedom, Even GOD believed in the death penalty.

I support the death penalty. The problem is they stay in jail for up to 20 years before sentence is carried out. I say change rules to one appeal and carry out sentence within 5 years. As for over crowded prisons (California) use the ewmpty warehouses the state has created due to over taxation....JUST FOR THE RECORD I THINK PRISONS SHOULD BE RUN BY PRIVATE OWNERSHIP, NOT GOVERNMENT. BIG GOVERNMENT=LOSS OF FREEDOM=SOCIALISM/COMMUNISM WAKE UP AND GET SOME HUTZBA PEOPLE!!!!

The good news would seem to be that it would prohibit the Socialist State of CO from taking known Constitutionalists out behind the Police Station, making them kneel before a ditch, and shooting them in the back of their heads, but it won't.

The bad news is that professional murders will continue to get away with their trade, since they know they'll only, at worst, get life imprisonment for not just murdering their victims, but any witnesses as well.  The fact our Congress is so stuffed with the blackmailed and infiltrators is simply because of Gary Condit's long-term "Disposal Service for hire" that not only influenced 9/11 - But ()bama's current failure of his Coup D'Edat - because 9/11 was NOT 9/11/2008.
