I filed chapter 7 and it's been over 30 days since my court appearance. When can I say for sure that the case is closed? Is it 30 days, 60 days, 75 days after we met with the trustee? Can they still claim non-exempt property a year or two down the road?
Typically 90 days after filing. Depends on any complications, is entirely up to the judge.
