I was late for work this morning, because I got stuck in Zeno's paradox

Its not just a band-aid. There is some sort of metal thingie, the band-aid is used only to attach it and keep it in place. It is supposed to keep the nasal passages wide open, and it can help a person who has problems breathing while asleep.

From personal experience, I can tell you that it does help a bit, as long as the band-aid doesn't lose its grip.

I have tried it and it does help some.  It's not a permanent solution and should only be used temporary if you are stuffed up and/or suffer from nasal allergies.

In my day job I write about Blood Pressure Treatment and treat those who suffer from blood pressure problems. Low blood pressure is a particular interest and I'm often asked about how to lower cholesterol levels. A healthy heart is becoming a huge focus for many of us nowadays. Improving your blood pressure control and thus the health of your heart and circulation system is really important. My most recent online "adventure" is to start a facility for people to ask me my opinion and to provide high quality health information by answering medical questions online.

I also have a special interest in the problem of feeling Tired All the Time and in those who suffer from chronic fatigue or lethargy. This seems to tie in also to skin care issues or skin treatment problems and suggestions. Tiredness and fatigue can lead to major problems for many individuals in modern society and the way that this can affect all areas of general health can be quite invasive in terms of daily life and coping skills.

My work with footballers and athletes leads to a focus on Painful Shoulder conditions and on the problems associated with frozen shoulder or whiplash injuryRotator cuff injury causes problems for many of my patients.

When not working I daydream about my next amazing european vacation trip  My favorite European cities include Paris and Barcelona and my next blog project will be to write about the best way to spend a night in Paris and how to find an apartment in Barcelona. I just love European travel in all its forms.

Worth a try - comes under different brand names - Breath Easy is the most common one. Said to help keep the nasal passages open.

Read more about snoring treatments on this website. Quite comprehensive - I found it useful.

Inside the band aid-like part is a small metal brace that works to hold the nasal passages open. This can be effective if the snoring is caused by congestion, chronically blocked nasal passages, or naturally narrow nasal passages. There are many different reasons that people snore. Being overweight can be a factor, but many times people erroneously jump to the conclusion that this is the only factor at play. Many people who are not overweight snore because of relaxed throat muscles. Other times snoring can be caused by congestion in the nasal passages and sinuses, consuming alcohol before bed, or eating a large meal before going to sleep. I've heard of programs that help you stop snoring by completing a few short minutes of breathing and throat exercises each night. I've never tried it myself, but I know of people who swear that it works. To find out more about the causes of snoring and how it can be prevented or stopped I recommend visiting the blog listed below as a source.
