Can someone give me some information on Bail bonds? How do they work?
If you bail the person out of jail with your own money, you get it all back, as long as they go to court. If you go through a bondsman, you only actually pay a percentage of the bail, the bondman pays the rest, and when the person goes to court, he gets his money back, plus your money as the fee for his services. Otherwise, you would be responsible for the total amount of the bail. Good luck!
