Donna, I'm curious.

What is your motivation to do such a thing? And what does your latest baby's father have to say about this? Doesn't he want his child to carry his name?

If he doesn't care, then I hope the father of your first five children seeks legal advice before he agrees to let you give this baby his name. The last thing he needs is to get socked with child support for a baby that isn't even his.

P.S. You're 25 and you just had your sixth child?!!? Wow! Any multiples?

Good answers...I say WOW too. You have your hands full so try to keep it simple before you do end up on the Jerry Springer show. Show this father the respect that his child carry his last name. Perhaps you want your child's last name the same as yours and I can understand that but not if it belongs to your ex.
