Sure you can. The anti oxidants in it are good for you and may and I repeat may be beneficial for the baby. Consider the fact that Chinese mothers drink it everyday with no ill affects on their children.

Good luck and best wishes to you and your baby.

3 thumbs up

I would not suggest weight loss during breastfeeding . . . you need those calories for baby.  Nursing will take some off naturally.  When you are through nursing you can begin exersize and tea regimens without concern.

You also want to avoid caffeine as babies need so much sleep and you too!

you should not. green tea has hidden caffine which is not good for your baby. caffine stunts growth. Just because the chinesse do it dont mean you should. if they jump of a cliff are you going to do it or have your baby do it? NO. it is in there culture unless you are part of that culture you and your babies body will probably not have the same reaction like the chinesse.
