Can you see the baby at 5 weeks?

I had a ultrasound yesterday and they saw that I was right at 5 weeks.They seen everything..the yolk sac but no baby. They didn't seem to alarmed about it, is this normal? I have had two m/c in the pass and I really want this pregnancy to take!!

Getting Pregnant to Baby and Beyond!

Yes this is common. It was just too early to see more than a yolk sac. Next time you go to your providers that you will soon see a baby on the screen.

your baby this early basicly shows up as a tiny blob in the sack, most times you cant tell cuz your baby is not formed enough. drs normally dont do a us till 7-9 weeks. and remember ultrasounds are not 100% you could be a few weeks off and they could get the sex wrong [it happens a lot] if youre wanting to know the sex, wait till after 21 weeks, its more correct that way [tho not 100%] good luck

QUESTION Dear Midwife, I have had a yeast infection throughout my entire pregnancy. My doctor has tested me for STD's and all are negative. He has prescribed metro gel to me. I have used this every few months. I am now on my 32 week and am using this prescription every other week. Is there something stronger I can use or something I can change or do differently to help? ANSWER Metrogel will not cure a yeast infection; it's for a bacterial infection and can actually cause a yeast infection. Have you tried Diflucan™ (the yeast pill)? If all these fail, borax washes help some women and the yeast can be cultured to see what will kill it.
