Is avril lavigne the only legitimate female artist who doesn't have to bear it all by wearing slutty outfits to be popular?

It sure looks that way! She's a great artist that I have yet to see compromise herself in order to make money. No revealing ads/clothing, no bad publicity with drinking or doing drugs or wasteful spending. She really appears to be a wholesome well-put-together young singer.

I do think Avril is cool because she doesn't take her clothes off, but I do have to say that this last album of hers was really bad compared to the other ones.  She sounds very immature and whiny, instead of more mature (since she is indeed older than she was when she made her previous albums). 

Also, I have to say that there are certainly other artists that don't strip down to the core in order to get popular, just look at Kelly Clarkson or Alicia Keys.  I think many artists aren't viewed as sex symbols.   

I don't like her music and she comes across as really bitchy in interviews.But I do like that she doesn't perform using two band-aids and a cork as an outfit.Her newer videos show alot more skin than her old ones...maybe she's starting to feel the competition.

I have to say when paris hilton, lindsey lohan and jessica simpson are naked theya are very popular in my pants.
