If You Cannot Download .EXE Files, Follow These Steps:
If your system/network administrator has limited the ability to download or open executable (.exe) files from the internet, then you will need to get their help saving the ABRS2011 install file (“abrs2011_install.exe”).
Click on the link “Download and Install ABRS2011.” Next, you will need to save (rather than Run or Open) the install file to your local computer desktop, or some download folder, first changing the file extension from “.exe” to “.eee” before saving.
Once the file has been saved to your local computer, find that file on your local computer and rename the file extension back to “.exe”. (The install program will NOT run if the extension is “.eee”.)
Then double-click on the install file (“abrs2011_install.exe”) and the installation will run as outlined in the rest of the "Instructions for downloading and installing ABRS2011".
After installing ABRS2011, you should delete the downloaded abrs2011_install.exe file, especially if you saved it to your Desktop. This is will prevent you from running the installation again, which would overwrite ALL your ABRS files with new, clean files.http://filext.com/faq/broken_exe_association.php
