What is the average time to get an answer on Yedda?

It really depends on the question. Some questions would be answered within minutes. Other, especially those tagged with self, reflective and yedda, may take longer, due to a built-in infinite recursion.
The search for people who can answer your question continues for as long as needed - until you find the answer you were looking for.
When an answer is posted by someone who was invited (byYedda or by yourself) to answer your question, their answer is marked with a yellow "invited by Yedda".

This answer took almost 11h. So I guess expanding the community all over the globe could accelerate the treatment...

I'm not sure, but in this case it appears that the average time was 8 months. I got an answer in 2 days, but I was asking about how to hook up a light fixture. Some questions must just take a lot more thought; something that can sometimes be extended with great parsimony.

It depends on what kind of question was asked, if it's interesting, not controversial as in politics and religion, and also the time of day. There are more responses after 6PM. That's my observation.
